- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with OSHA regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees on health and safety matters, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and safe work practices.
- Deliver training programs on a variety of health and safety topics, including but not limited to, hazard communication, personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency response.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of health and safety initiatives, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health and safety activities, including incident reports, training records, and inspection findings.
- Stay abreast of changes in health and safety regulations and best practices, and ensure timely updates to policies and procedures as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Active OSHA 30 certification is required.
