Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Los Alamos NM supporting Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) at Aiken SC Join a mission-critical engineering team delivering high-visibility engineering initiatives across SRN This role directly supports successful delivery of projects safely on time within budget while meeting rigorous nuclear DOE standards
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering staff augmentation support to SRNS
- Integrate manage engineering activities for assigned projects including Design criteria development Resource forecasting Schedule development prioritization Manage engineering tasks to ensure delivery against approved cost schedule baselines Apply project management tools methods to support current future projects Provide engineering leadership coordination across multidisciplinary teams Manage administration document control project controls quality activities Resolve conflicts between project direction functional technical direction Establish manage baselines for assigned projects work requests Evaluate project variances implement corrective actions Review subcontractor deliverables ensure technical cost schedule compliance Support EVMS-based execution reporting Coordinate communicate effectively with personnel Mentor junior engineers develop capability
