    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience.

    Responsibilities
    Labor & Delivery unit within a 377-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital

    Patient ratio of 1:2

    Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
    No weekend requirement
    No on-call requirement
    Floating required between like units and across facilities within the state
    Block scheduling considered at manager's discretion
    Epic EMR required
    Free parking available
    Scrubs may be any color; L&D and OR scrubs are provided
    First-time travelers are welcome to apply
    All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; post-offer RTO requests are subject to denial
    Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
    Refusal to float between facilities may result in assignment termination

    Requirements
    Active CA RN license required (pending license not accepted)

    Current certifications required:
    ACLS, BLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, and LA Fire Card
    Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
    Epic EMR experience required
    At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
    SSN and DOB required for consideration
