Pay Rate: $2, $2,200.00 gross per week

Number of Positions: 1

Start Date: Ideal candidate can start as early as 05/27/2024. Will take candidates who can start before or after this date.

Assignment Length: 3-6 Months

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM / 35 Hours a Week

Additional Details:

• This is advanced, professional, pharmaceutical administrative work, while participating as a member of the Clinic healthcare team and actively performing in the deliverance of pharmaceutical services that are efficient, cost effective and culturally appropriate in the prevention and intervention of health-related medical problems within the Miccosukee community at large.
• If the presence of a Pharmacy Intern is warranted, provide "on-the- job training", supervision and in-service educational training.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacology from an accredited college.
• 1 year experience in a hospital or ambulatory clinic setting.
• Experience with or knowledge of Native American culture is preferred.

• CPR/BLS

ABOUT THE FACILITY

This IHS Facility is located in the heart of the Everglades serving the Miccosukee community members and other federally recognized Native Americans. Their department consists of a Health Clinic and Wellness Center, entities which work in unity with other major departments on the reservation. Their Clinic offers both walk-in services and appointments to the community with opening hours every day from 8:30am-11: 00 pm. Within the clinic, there is a pharmacy, front desk and waiting area, four medical exam rooms which includes physical therapy room, nurses station, nurses laboratory, eight office suites, employee lounge, counseling services office, dental office, and dental laboratory. The Wellness Center has a gym, a massage therapy room, offices, and kitchen area for cooking classes. Their Dental Services has two operatory chairs and a laboratory. Dental Services are available Monday to Friday from 8:30am-4: 30 pm.
