- Medical equipment (including respirators)

- Perform plating operations using various techniques in accordance with specifications and quality standards
- Set up, monitor, and control plating lines and chemical baths
- Process parts for the correct duration per shop paperwork
- Inspect plated parts for defects, thickness, and quality compliance
- Verify parts are correctly racked prior to plating
- Operate and assist with maintenance of plating tanks and rinsing systems
- Follow all safety protocols and properly use PPE
- Accurately complete all required paperwork and production records
- Notify supervisors of process deviations or equipment issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting production goals
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED (technical training is a plus)
- 0-2 years of plating or manufacturing experience preferred (we will train candidates who demonstrate strong work ethic and reliability)
- Ability to maintain regular, dependable attendance
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong basic math skills (measurements, time, calculations)
- Ability to read a ruler/tape measure and analog clock
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic understanding of chemical and equipment safety
- Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus)
- Interest in obtaining CEF/NASF certifications
- Strong desire to meet production and performance expectations

Position: Metal Plater / Line Operator (training provided - read full description before applying) Company:Avtec Finishing / New Hope MN Shift: 5am - 3pm M-Th (+OT as needed) Wage: $24/Hour + DOQ Signing Bonus: $1500 (new hires only)
