Casne Engineering is seeking a Professional Engineer (P.E.) with 2 to 5 years' experience designing industrial power systems.

As part of our Engineering Services department in Bellevue, WA, you will collaborate with a team of other engineers, including architectural, structural, mechanical, and civil, to provide design and construction support services.

Electrical design elements include power distribution one-line diagrams, power and lighting plans, wiring diagrams, panel schedules, fault current and load calculations on systems ranging from 115kV to under 600V.

This role involves a mix of office-based and on-site work, focusing on large-scale industrial design projects.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and demonstrate a strong desire for career advancement, growth, and potential to take on leadership roles.

Responsibilities
Design of Industrial and Commercial power, communication, lighting, and control systems, including:

Medium and Low-Voltage Power Distribution Systems
Emergency and Standby Power Systems
Interior and Exterior Lighting
Networking, Security, and Auxiliary Systems Design
Power System Modeling

Load Studies
Short Circuit Analysis
Protective Device Coordination / Arc Flash Calculations / Studies

Response to Equipment Submittals, Construction RFIs, etc.
Facilitation of project closeout documentation
Required (Technical)
BSEE degree and 2+ years industry experience
Experience in the preparation of detailed construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
Experience in the support of construction and commissioning activities
Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, Bluebeam Revu, and management of PDF documents
Required (Business)
Passed the FE exam
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple deadline-driven tasks effectively and efficiently, including a proactive approach to follow-up
Successful completion of background checks (including possible drug testing, depending on the client) for access badging requirements
Ability to travel to customer locations as required to research existing conditions, coordinate with third parties, install and configure equipment, commission final solutions, and support customers
Preferences
Washington State P.E. in Electrical. Other states accepted.
Experience with engineering software including SKM, Easy Power, ETAP, SEL acSELerator, etc.
