    Job Title:
    Head of People and Talent

    Reports To:
    CEO of Mantra Health, Matt KennedyLocation: Remote - preference East Coast time zone
    Compensation Package: 160k+ base salary + 15% bonus (based on prior experience and people function leadership background)

    Job Summary:

    The Head of People and Talent will lead the People function and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources at Mantra.

    This position plays a critical role in shaping the companys culture, managing talent, and developing/executing human resources strategies to support the organizations goals and objectives.

    This role will involve collaborating closely with senior leadership and implementing best practices in talent management, employee engagement, and compliance.


    Key Job Responsibilities:

    Strategic HR Leadership:
    Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the companys mission and vision, and work closely with the CEO and executive team to drive organizational success

    Talent Acquisition and Management:
    Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of top talent. Implement effective talent acquisition strategies, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection processes.

    Establish Functional Operational Rigor, Metrics, and Reporting:
    Create key People metrics by which People and Recruiting function will be evaluated. Apply a data driven approach to diagnosing organizational issues, recommending solutions and evaluating effectiveness of people programs.


    Employee Engagement:
    Create and maintain a positive and inclusive workplace culture, fostering employee engagement, motivation, and retention

    Diversity and Inclusion Leadership:
    Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives across the organization. Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity at all levels of the company, including recruitment, leadership development, and retention.


    Performance Management:
    Develop and manage performance evaluation processes and ensure continuous performance improvement and career development opportunities for employees

    Compensation and Benefits:
    Manage the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent

    HR Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices. Implement and update workplace policies and procedures as needed.


    Employee Relations:
    Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance processes

    Training and Development:
    Identify training needs, design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and career growth

    Company Comms:
    Partner with chief of staff on company communication calendar and content mgmt

    Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
    A minimum of 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including at least 3+ years in a managerial role.

    Proficient in leveraging data driven talent insights to facilitate organizational decision makingPower user of people tools and systems and ability to leverage existing Mantra systems to gain more operational efficiency.

    Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
    Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with and support the achievement of organizational goals.
    Prior "head of people" experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with limited infrastructure and varying mgmt experience levels.
    Ability to establish productive, credible relationships with all stakeholders.
    Must have ability to operate both strategically and as a "roll up your sleeves" expert People practitioner/project manager.
    Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
    HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus. J-18808-Ljbffr
