ELMUtility Services, with over 1000 employees nationwide, has an outstandingopportunity as a Utility Locate Technician, working in the Washington areas ofCle Elum and Ellensburg.

With starting pay from $20-$30 per hour DOQ, you willbe provided paid training by ELM using ELM equipment, including companyprovided vehicle to work independently as your mobile office.

ELM utilizes ourLaunchPoint software system with state-of-the-art technology to ensure the jobis as simple and efficient as possible for our technicians.

ELM Techniciansprovide a service to their community ensuring the gas, electric, communicationssystems, etc. are maintained and dependable by performing excellent qualitymarking of utilities to prevent excavation damage to these critical facilities.

Yourspecific duties in this role will include, but not limited to:

• Workingindependently outdoors utilizing your company-provided vehicle as your mobileoffice, you will work a route of locate requests to be completed each day.
• Ourmission is to correctly, safely, and efficiently locate and mark undergroundutilities including electric and gas lines primarily, marking their properlocation using marking paint, flags, and whiskers in some cases. In some areasELM does also locate communications or other facilities as well. Localmanagement can provide specifically what utilities we service in your area.
• Completeall necessary digital documentation and paperwork
• Receivedaily route and locate requests by logging in each morning from your vehicle/mobileoffice handheld smartphone. No need to come to an office every day. The daynormally will start at your residence and ends on the last locate jobcompleted.
• Respondto emergency calls in a timely manner as directed
• Workperiodic overtime and weekend on-call rotation may be requested

Specificqualifications for the position include:

• Abilityto pass a pre-employment drug screen.

• Atleast 18 years of age
