    Description

    Critical Care Technician

    Job Summary

    Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), provides age-appropriate care and assists patients with activities of daily living while maintaining their autonomy and independence.

    Key responsibilities include responding to emergency codes, performing technical skills such as IV initiation, phlebotomy, EKGs, and Foley catheter insertion, and assisting with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.

    Requirements

    • GNA/CNA certificate from the MD Board of Nursing
    • Hospital orientation/training program
    • American Heart Assoc. Health Care Provider Certification
    • At least 6 months of experience

    Compensation

    $17 - $26 per hour, based on experience
