We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Director to join our client.As the Tax Director, you will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of our clients' tax planning and compliance needs.
You will lead their tax department, providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and proactive tax solutions to ensure their clients optimize their tax positions and meet their financial objectives.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or tax advisory role, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals and families.
Extensive knowledge of individual, trust, estate, and business taxation, including complex tax issues and strategies.Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office suite.
Responsibilities
Tax Planning and Strategy:
Develop and implement tax planning strategies tailored to individual client needs, considering factors such as income, investments, retirement accounts, and estate planning goals.
Tax Compliance:
Oversee the preparation and review of complex individual, trust, estate, and business tax returns, ensuring accuracy, compliance with tax laws, and timely filing.
Client Advisory:
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing proactive tax advice, identifying opportunities for tax optimization, and addressing tax-related inquiries and concerns.
Tax Research and Analysis:
Stay abreast of changes in tax laws, regulations, and rulings, conducting research and analysis to assess the impact on clients and develop appropriate strategies.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to foster professional growth and development.
Client Relationships:
Cultivate strong client relationships through effective communication, responsiveness, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments, including wealth management, estate planning, and investment advisory teams, to provide integrated solutions and holistic financial planning for clients.
