- Effectively plan and execute assurance engagements.
- Ability to identify business process risks and develop recommendations based on audits and present these ideas to senior management and clients.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate staff on client engagements.
- Organize and monitor progress of client engagement in relation to budgets and due dates.
- Manage day-to-day client relationships.
- Function as communication channel between senior management, clients, and staff.
- 5+ years public accounting experience required, additional industry experience is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP guidelines and experience with audit methodologies and techniques
- Experience in performing Uniform Guidance, Yellow Book, Single Audits and Employee Benefit Plan audits
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and manage relationships
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent work ethic and a sense of humor are a must
