    Job Overview

    Riley Power Group LLC is a leading provider of maintenance and capital construction services, operating nationwide on complex industrial projects. We are currently seeking a skilled Air Operated Valve Technician to join our team.

    About the Role

    This position involves testing, inspecting, refurbishing, and reinstalling various types of valve actuators, including direct, reverse, diaphragm, and piston models from different manufacturers. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read and interpret documents, as well as communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Remove, test, inspect, refurbish, and reinstall valve actuators of different sizes and types.
    • Conduct detailed inspections of valve parts, documenting findings via site procedures and documentation.
    • Diagnostics testing of air-operated valves using site test platforms.
    • Repair and rebuild air-operated valve internals.
    • Evaluate necessity of replacing parts.
    • Set actuator bench and valve stroke parameters.
    • Pack replacement parts and adjust settings.
    • Perform positioner and I/P rebuilds, replacements, and calibrations.
    • Adjust air supply regulators, limit switches, boosters, and solenoid air supply valves.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in industrial valve repair, or an equivalent number of years of education and experience.
    • Familiarity with tools and machinery required for daily valve repair duties.
    • Experience repairing various valves and actuators, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric models.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

    Physical Demands and Work Authorization

    The successful candidate must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds and transport them over a distance of 10 feet. Citizenship or work authorization requirements include being a US citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual.

    Compensation and Benefits

    The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
