    The "Plant Systems" group consists of Engineers and Designers from Structural, Mechanical and Electrical & Instrumentation disciplines.

    The Plant Systemsdepartment consists of 15 team members of which 2 are E&I compliments (inclusive of thisone).Each engineer in this group is a lead engineer who manages our "production" group located in Chenna, India.

    The plant systemsgroup report to the Plant Systems Engineering Manager.

    Thegroup is responsible for the full and comprehensive development, engineering, design and integrationof complex mineralmining systems consisting of both proprietary FLSmidth equipment as well as external/3rd party vendor equipmentto create complete mining minerals processing/handling solutions to our clients.

    Your responsibilities
    Participation in Engineering Manpower and/or engineering equipment cost estimates for the FLSmidth proposal's team.
    Participate in compilation of engineering project schedules.

    Manage the Electricaland instrumentation staff required for the project execution in terms of budget, scope execution, manhour consumption, quality and correctness as well as scope changes/variances.

    Engage and manage 3rd party Electrical & Instrumentation consultants and/or suppliers.
    Work closely with FLSmidth automation where applicableand ensure alignment between Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation.
    Participation in procurement activities associated with E&I equipment.

    What you bring

    Bachelor's degree inElectrical Engineering (Professional registration is beneficial)
    5+ years of experience in the minerals mining industry
    Record of successfuldelivery of complex plant systems type projects inthe mining and minerals industry.
    Capability to lead and directinternational intercultural teams
    Ability to build and maintain good relationships on all levels with customers and internally
    Effective communication skills both verbal and written (Spanish literacy will be beneficial)
