    What you'll do:

    Reporting to the CFO, the Controller is an integral member of the finance team and will play a key role teaming with the existing Accounting Manager on the accounting and finance function. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who can partner effectively with a high caliber team on the day to day responsibilities utilizing strong communication, collaboration, technical expertise, attention to detail, and analytical skills to ensure accurate and efficient financial management.

    In this role, you will:
    • Perform quarterly valuations for assigned funds including utilizing models.
    • Monitor partnership cash requirements and perform capital calls with the fund administrator as necessary.
    • Review quarterly/annual financial statements and capital account allocations from the fund administrator.
    • Review and execute cash/stock distributions from partnerships.
    • Assist with annual audit and tax preparation.
    • Oversee fund related processes such as maintaining our internal system for investment rounds, exits, cap table changes; track fund related expenses and rebills; prepare materials for the quarterly & annual valuation & reporting processes;
    • Support LP related communications, initiatives, and incoming requests, including fundraising prep & ODD support
    • Support compliance activities within the firm, incl. filings & recordkeeping
    • Special projects as directed by CFO
    Requirements
    • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in an investment management, tax/audit or fund admin
    • Understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and partnership accounting
    • Highly organized with good time management skills and meticulous attention to detail
    • Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
    • Ability to easily context switch between multiple ongoing projects
    • Can-do attitude in a lean, growing team-oriented environment
