- Functionally test, troubleshoot to the component level, repair, rework, calibrate, inspect, and certify a variety of electronic subassemblies, assemblies, and completed instruments.
- Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Perform moderate to complex repair on a wide variety of production line instruments that have failed in previous testing or in operational use.
- Under limited supervision, conduct routine work assignments with no instruction and conduct new assignments with general instruction.
- Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent, with at least 3 years related experience.
- Proficient with various test instruments such as microscope, oscilloscopes, power supplies, calibrators, and digital multi-meters.
- Soldering (including SMT and through-hole) and electrical cable assembly skills.
- Solid understanding of electrical technology/terminology and ability to interpret schematics, engineering documents, and maintenance manuals.
- Thorough knowledge of digital, analog circuits, and electronic circuits to perform complex repairs.
- Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in MS Office programs.
- Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment preferred.
