    Description

    The team of nursing assistants at Cascades at Riverwalk is expanding, and we would love to welcome you aboard. At our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), we are dedicated to offering both short-term and long-term care for our residents.

    No prior experience? Not a problem at all! We are eager to provide training and support as you work towards becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant.

    What we expect from you:

    Requirements:

    • Strong communication skills
    • Readiness to familiarize yourself with local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to long-term care
    • Commitment to obtaining certification within 120 days of starting your employment

    Responsibilities:

    • Respond promptly to residents' call lights to assess their needs
    • Assist in turning and repositioning residents in bed
    • Physically support residents in daily activities like bathing, dressing, and eating
    • Ensure residents' dietary requirements and preferences are met
    • Keep accurate records of residents' food and fluid intake
    • Report any changes in resident conditions to the nursing staff
