Description

Looking for an EXPERIENCED Barista to join our team at Piccino. Must have great coffee knowledge, an enthusiastic customer service approach, a positive attitude, and organizational skills. A mix of weekday and weekend shifts is required.

Piccino began in 2006 as a small café serving pizza and coffee in Dogpatch. Piccino has grown alongside the Dogpatch neighborhood, becoming a full-service restaurant with an annexed Coffee Bar.

Since the beginning, our mission has remained the same:
to serve the best ingredients in a warm and welcoming environment that caters to all.

Our business was founded and built by women.

Our Coffee Bar is a unique environment that requires the ability to work at a fast pace, prioritize efficiently, collaborate successfully, and be present with all who walk through our doors.

We serve Bassline Coffee, make our pastries in house, and appreciate all of our customers.

Requirements
-2 years Experience in specialty/third wave coffee, strong technical barista skills, knowledge of equipment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility in scheduling, availability to cover shifts if needed
Interest in coffee culture and hospitality

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly rate plus tips average $10$20 per hour
Employer sponsored Kaiser plan for those who average 20+ hours per week
Paid sick leave accrued at 1 hour per 30 hours worked
