The real estate products are mainly delivered through private funds that primarily own and operate commercial buildings under lease to agencies of the US government, and state and local governments.

Our fixed income and equity products are delivered through separately managed accounts, mutual funds, and intermediaries.

We are seeking a Data Governance Specialist to be responsible for developing and implementing an effective data governance framework.

This role would create, implement, and maintain master data management solutions that enable users to optimize system capabilities, using end-to-end data processes to ensure that data flows efficiently and consistently to users.

This role will effectuate data governance and will work to ensure data integrity by coordinating data management efforts across the organization.

Develop and maintain effective data management and governance practices and ensure adherence.

• Analyze and suggest improvements to data governance process and systems.
• Monitor and assess compliance within data governance polices.
• Own/maintain the data catalog and ensure metadata, data definitions and lineage are captured and maintained.
• Collaborate with business units, including IT, to understand their data needs and provide guidance and training on data governance processes.
• Develop and document data governance metrics.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems.
• Develop plan and processes for managing data access.
• Develop document retention and uniform record keeping standards.

Education, Skills, Personal Characteristics and

Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
• 4-8 years of data governance experience, preferably within the financial sector.
• Solid technical background in data governance design and implementation.
• Experience in project management preferred.
• Experience in data analytics tools and programming languages preferred.
