    Position Summary:

    PURPOSE:

    • Our North American Offer Development Team is growing, and we are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Engineering Intern.
    • Support the preparation of technical documentation detailing information related to hardware homologation, research and evaluation.
    • Support the definition of test procedures for firmware, hardware and software validation ensuring the quality of the products and services provided by the company.
    • Assess and diagnose technical problems searching for their root cause by employing quality tools (e.g. Ishikawa tools) and proposing an effective action plan.
    • Support engineering projects related to new products and offers, following up activities related to firmware, hardware and/or software development.
    • You will have the opportunity to understand our customers' needs, contribute to new product and offers development, diagnose technical hardware/firmware problems and directly impact the quality of the products and services provided by the company.
    • Knowledge about C/C++ programming language be advantageous for this candidate.
    • We are looking for strong candidates who are as comfortable testing and validating hardware and firmware developments, as supporting the evaluation and diagnose of technical problems related to devices. This is a unique opportunity to individually contribute to the evolution of our technical solutions.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    HIGH-VALUE SOLUTIONS DEVELOPMENT:

    • Supporting activities related to new product/offers development, presenting technical skills to do proper questions regarding the solution definition, but at the same time employing a customer centricity vision to enhance the solution value proposition for the customer.
    • Promote a good synergy with global development teams to support a proper prioritization of technology development activities, always focusing on what is relevant for our customer needs.

    ISSUES EVALUATION AND ACTION PLAN PROPOSAL:

    • Work efficiently with technology team to assess technical issues reported by customers, after sales team and L1/L2 support areas.
    • Present discipline and organization to deeply investigate root causes, as well as propose effective action plans to solve issues completely and increase customer confidence in our services.
