    About Lydia Home Association

    We are a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive services and support to children and families in need. Our mission is to create a nurturing and safe environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.

    Our Services

    We operate residential programs and child welfare services, collaborating with the Department of Children and Family Services to ensure the well-being of the children under our care. We provide support for wards of the state and their families, ensuring they receive necessary services and resources.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate all services for wards of the state and their families
    • Conduct regular home visits to foster homes
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation
    • Move cases toward permanency in juvenile court
    • Arrange sibling visitation and other essential activities

    Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9-5 PM (Hybrid)

    Requirements:

    Necessary Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field
    • Licenses: CERAP, CCA, 402, Child Welfare exams by IL Department of Children & Family Services
    • Strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills
    • Personal vehicle and current IL driver's license
    • Willingness to support LYDIA's mission
    • Bilingual in Spanish is an asset
