THE OPPORTUNITY
Business consultancy for respective business processes in the organisation to ensure effective support of systems availability. This will be through proactive business process solutions that leverage the latest technology to create a competitive edge. This is achieved through close alignment of technology to the business. The role reports to the Country Head of IT.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Country Head of IT in the creation and delivery of the IT Strategy
Lead the IT Infrastructure, Operations and Network Team to Integrate new technology and ensure optimum system performance
Provide support, installation and configuration for all virtual services and physical services in all the Country Data Centers
Design, plan, build and support automation infrastructure to fully cover all business operational sites including system architecture for all business tools and collaboration software
Provide proactive and continuous improvement, technical upgrades, and support of servers, storage, and backup environments
Assist with technology related purchases and maintenance of company's IT assets
Determine and implement proper monitoring points and tuning alerts to be able to monitor the data center environments proactively
Create and maintain systems administration documentation outlining administration policies and practices
Coordinate and manage all IT infrastructure disaster recovery plans in liaison with the End User & Information Security teams
Manage service level agreements (SLA) with internal customers and external vendors
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Graduate in Information Technology or relevant discipline with at least 10 years' experience dealing with complex technical IT environments, policy and effective service delivery to end users in multiple Business segments.
