    Description

    The Principal Software Engineer will be responsible for the Design,
    Implementation and Update of Features and Functionality in the Freeform
    and Geomagic.

    Design code bases. Products derived from these code bases include Mechanical CAD design and Organic Design. The products utilize geometric representations
    including Polygon, Voxel and NURB/BREP objects. The products are
    developed on Windows in C++ and C#.

    Basic Qualifications Required for Success:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred)
    • 5+ years creating Mechanical CAD, 3D Modeling or Digital Content creation applications working both on user-visible features as well as geometric algorithms
    • A strong user-focused development approach is a must
    • Must have worked in very large (>500,000 lines of code) code bases using modern Source code control and feature/bug tracking systems
    • Should have good communication skills for working with other engineers, QA, Documentation, Support and Sales personnel
    • In depth knowledge of 3D Modeling format(s) such as polygon, voxel or NURBS
