    Description

    H&P is mandated on a role with a middle market private equity firm looking to hire an associate for their office in Washington, DC. They focus on the consumer, business services and healthcare and are looking for someone with relevant M&A experience in that space.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive financial and market research across the respective sectors
    • Identify and evaluate investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, and perform financial modelling and analysis.
    • Work closely with senior team members in deal sourcing, negotiation, and execution of transactions.
    • Monitor and support the performance of portfolio companies, implementing value creation strategies.
    • Engage in market analysis, industry trends, and competitive intelligence to identify emerging opportunities.

    The role:

    • Pre-MBA Associate.
    • 2+ years of investment banking experience.
    • Bachelor's degree required.
