No Duties and Responsibilities The Loyola University Health System ( LUHS ) and the Loyola University Chicago ( LUC ) Stritch School of Medicine and the Hines Veterans Administration Hospital ( HVA ) is offering a full-time faculty position on the clinical educator track ( CET ) for Neuro-ophthalmologist. Board certification and fellowship training as well as eligibility for licensing in Illinois are expected. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong interest and prior commitment to clinical and/or basic science research. Candidates should have a history of outstanding clinical care and a strong academic commitment to the clinical training of residents and medical students. Loyola University Medical Center ( LUMC ) is a 547-licensed-bed quaternary hospital in Maywood, Illinois that includes the William G. & Mary A. Ryan Center for Heart & Vascular Medicine, the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center, a Level 1 trauma center, Illinois's largest burn center, a certified comprehensive stroke center and a children's hospital. Loyola also trains the next generation of caregivers through its academic affiliation with Loyola University Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine and the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing.
