Our client is a managed services IT company that serves clients in the Philadelphia and surrounding counties. They are problem solvers; offering strategies and solutions to guarantee that systems are operating optimally.

They are seeking an Automation Specialist to add to the team The Automation Specialist is responsible for developing, troubleshooting, and debugging automations and workflows.

This position is remote, but may require travel as needed.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Create paths to be used in larger workflows.
2. Create functions for larger scripts.
3. Assist in design process of automation.
4. Troubleshoot and debug existing automations and workflows.
5. Get feedback from clients or technicians to provide to supervisors.
6. Participate in meetings to provide status of work and updates.
7. Develop and maintain robust PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
8. Utilize RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tools to automate repetitive tasks and optimize operational workflows.

Desired Skills & Experience:

•Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical field preferred

•Previous experience working with coding languages (EX: Python), preferred.

•Previous experience working with command line languages (EX: Powershell, Bash, command prompt), preferred.

•Experience with Microsoft Power Automate or equivalent, preferred.

•Experience with Jinja2, preferred.

•Strong communicator with the ability to work with various teams.
