Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Fall 2023 semester (01/04/2024 – 04/28/204)

Course: Practice of Law

This course focuses on three major areas of success required to become a successful legal practitioner: legal reasoning and analysis, practical legal research and writing, and "soft" skills of the legal profession such as the ability to gather information from persons and to communicate with persons in the legal arena.

What You Will Do:

Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

*Professional or Teaching experience required

PhD in Government
- Political Science
- Philosophy
- Juris Doctor (JD)
Master's in Government
- Political Science
- Philosophy
Exceptions may be granted to individuals with a Master's in any field AND
- 9-graduate credits in Government
- Substantial work/teaching experience
