- Accurately prepares food following recipes and production sheets.
- Adheres to safety procedures for food handling, storage, and service.
- Maintains strict sanitation standards at all times.
- Monitors and controls food temperatures consistently.
- Properly wraps, dates, and labels food items for storage.
- Operates cooking equipment following safety protocols.
- Controls food quantities, records leftovers and waste.
- Assists in setting up and breaking down food serving lines.
- Maintains HACCP logs and standards.
- Participates in cleaning and sanitation tasks in production areas.
- Completes daily assignments and assists colleagues when needed.
- Participates in staff development and quality improvement programs.
- Cooperates with team members and follows organizational standards.
- High School diploma or equivalent, GED, or GED equivalent program.
- Minimum of 1 year of short order cooking experience in a fast-paced setting.
- Formal culinary training within the last 5 years.
