Short Order Cook
The primary duty of a Short Order Cook is preparing foods for customers. They may prepare individual orders like burgers, pizzas, salads, etc. This requires familiarity with cooking a variety of items to order, as well as managing food presentation and customization.
Responsibilities
- Take control of the lunch and or dinner service and ensure guests receive a delicious and memorable meal.
- Setting up and cleaning down the kitchen after dinner.
- Ensure the kitchen is always kept clean and hygienic.
- Ensure all stocks are kept under optimum conditions.
- Ensure all food is always freshly prepared and on time.
- Ensure all dishes are being prepared to the correct recipe and to the correct quantity.
- Ensure any issues are communicated promptly to the F&B Supervisor.
- Ensuring and controlling levels of guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and ensuring that the production, preparation, and presentation of food are always of the highest quality.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds.
- Serve Safe Certification preferred but not necessary.
