- Teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate accounting courses covering fields relating to business technology and analytics.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, advising and mentoring them as they progress through their studies.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new programs, initiatives, and initiatives aimed at improving student outcomes and the overall quality of the business school.
- Collaborate with other faculty members, staff, and alumni to promote the mission of the business school and build relationships with the business community.
- Provide service to the department, the university, and the professional and surrounding communities.
- Share expertise with the business community through presentations, articles published in the trade press, white papers, etc.
- At least a master's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- A strong commitment to teaching excellence, including, experience teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels; teaching online; and incorporating data/business analytics into their courses.
- A passion for student development and a commitment to advising and mentoring students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff.
- Terminal degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Real world expertise in relevant areas of business will be considered, and preference will be given to faculty with teaching, consulting, or corporate experience in one or more of the following areas: business analytics, business intelligence, digital management, quantitative management tools, IT strategy, Agile delivery methodology or cloud migration.

Job Responsibilities
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Visiting (non-tenure track) Assistant Professor of Accounting Information Systems and Business Analytics for our AACSB accredited business school in Rochester, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in multiple modalities (i.e., in person, online, and hybrid) covering topics in one or more of the following areas: business analytics, business intelligence, digital management, quantitative management tools, IT strategy, Agile delivery methodology or cloud migration and contributing to the overall mission of the business school. A strong focus on student development is a must for this position.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic academic or professional who enjoys working in a fast-adapting, multidisciplinary environment and who shows enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues within the department and school as well as across disciplines.
