    Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented VOIP SME/Lead to join our team and provide unparalleled support to a federal customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech. This is an onsite position with the potential for remote work several days a week.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Act as the SME and Lead for a small team of VOIP engineers to support the Government's organization which has locations throughout the U.S. Support includes weekdays and after hours and weekend support.

    Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and support for the enterprise VOIP / Unified Communications program to include all government VOIP site locations.

    Lead for evaluating, designing and/or implementing new VOIP / unified communication solutions.

    Serve as the interface between the Program, customer, and end-users to ensure that the technical VOIP solution(s) meet mission needs. Ensure that VOIP related projects are implemented on time and within cost.

    Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to a wide range of areas including initially setting up, maintaining, or recovering customer VOIP sites, telecommunications circuits, routing and switching, Cisco VoIP / Unified Communications platform, VOIP handsets, etc,

    Work closely with other groups such as network, video conferencing, A/V and others to ensure a holistic solution meets mission needs.

    Provide guidance and training for junior VOIP engineers

    Working with multiple vendors, subject matter experts, and service providers.

    Attending customer meetings and providing detailed reporting as required.

    Provide weekly incidents reports, status reports and project task status to the Program Manager and Government.

    Basic Qualifications:

    A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math or Engineering

    A minimum of (8) eight years of demonstrated technical experience with VOIP solutions

    A minimum of (5) five years of experience working with Cisco WebEx and/or Unified Communications solutions

    Demonstrated experience supporting a government customer VOIP environment with distributed sites in multiple U.S. and / or OCONUs locations.

    Comfortable interfacing with Government leadership

    Demonstrated experienced leading or mentoring junior VOIP engineers

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Knowledge of or experience with networking, VTC, data circuits (T1, T3, etc.), security hardware (firewalls, IPS, etc.), MS Windows client OS, MS Office including Visio, Word, and Excel, network encryption devices and virtualization

    Security Requirements:

    Must be a U.S. citizen

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance

    Physical Requirements:

    Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

    Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

    Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

    The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

    The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
