    Required - Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

    The Continuous Improvement Manager will champion a culture of Continuous Improvement through visible leadership at the site.

    OVERVIEW:

    • Serve as subject matter expert for the site regarding the creation, implementation, and monitoring of Key Process Indicators (KPI'S).
    • Collaborate with the site's front-line leaders to maintain and improve huddle boards used in the daily management system.
    • Lead the implementation of critical continuous improvement initiatives including 5S+1.
    • Lead and facilitate process improvement-based workshops to identify ideas for achieving site productivity goals.
    • Coach, mentor, and train manufacturing employees in the use of continuous improvement tools including LEAN and Six Sigma.
    • Complete other ad-hoc activities as required.
    • This position requires strong leadership skills as you will interact, and project lead multi-functional teams involving Front-Line Leaders and Operations Managers.
    • You will manage multiple project teams – providing direction to cross functional working to achieve continuous improvement goals consistently.
    • An action-oriented leader with a proven track record in continuous improvement. You thrive on working in a fast-paced, with a changing business environment.
    • Proven experience and advanced skills you will bring demonstrated experience managing Lean 6 sigma or continuous improvement in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
    • A Continuous Improvement champion for Operations. Raising awareness of continuous improvement commitments, facilitating project initiatives to meet organizational goals and communicating progress to stakeholders.
    • Working with internal partners, maintain operational reporting and work closely with both individual contributors and Front-Line Leaders on achieving success.
    • Expected to be a subject matter expert with a deep understanding of continuous improvement to achieve results that are characteristic of running successful manufacturing distribution sites.

    Requirements:

    • 5-7 yrs. Manufacturing experience
    • Required - Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt preferred
    • Minimum 3-5+ years of demonstrated experience completing projects using Lean 6 Sigma or continuous improvement
    • Demonstrated experience in the implementation of continuous improvement techniques in operation and maintenance, including Lean and Six-Sigma
    • Ability to travel to other company locations as needed
    • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
    • An effective change agent, with a proven track record of affecting broad change within a manufacturing organization
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Analytical mindset and proven problem-solving capabilities
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Enjoy working in a team based collaborative environment
    • High energy and willingness to take initiative
