    The Role & Department

    As the Manager of Portfolio Planning, you will be in the Portfolio Management department and responsible for providing end-user support to drive analytics, resourcing, and program planning initiative.

    This would also include budgeting and reporting deliverables. In this highly collaborative role, you'll be part of a small team with stakeholders across the company.

    Key responsibilities include:


    Provide guidance and support to Development Project Managers to ensure consistency in planning structures, in addition to, confirming timelines and resources in Planisware are aligned with current development strategies.

    Provide monthly/adhoc resource and timeline reporting to all project stakeholders. Ensure consistency and high-quality production of data on the whole project plan to support portfolio management.


    Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages as well as budget and forecast presentations, including internal reporting and guidance.

    Ensure Planisware guidance is appropriately followed through to achieve PMO initiatives and standards across all programs/projects.

    Contribute to innovative/adaptive project, trial, and resource planning improvement efforts within Planisware.

    Support departmental and corporate initiatives to drive process improvements.


    Support PMO initiatives to continuously improve technology, analytical methodologies, and communication tools in support of optimal financial planning and execution of clinical trial spend.

    Supports the function and governance processes with the reporting of FTE and timeline projections.

    Budget preparation across the portfolio working with stakeholders across the company.

    Requirements - what you must have
    3-4 years of experience in a drug development field and familiar with the drug development process is required.

    Comfortability with project planning, tracking, resource planning and tracking, scheduling tools, and cross-project analytics within Planisware environment

    Project planning skills with core project management knowledge required.

    Collaborative spirit and ability to work with international teams

    Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

    For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:
    $91, $153,125.00

    The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
