Job summary
Machinist performs various tasks such as reading blueprints, setting up and operating machine shop tools, inspecting parts before start of job and making repair parts if not commercially available.
Responsibilities
- Reads and interprets blue prints to plan set up and operation of all types of machine shop tools.
- Plans, sets up and operates typical machine shop machine tools, producing parts to tolerances and company specifications. Uses typical machinist's hand tools.
- Treats all other team members with respect and dignity.
