Job Summary

The Restaurant Busser is responsible for maintaining and keeping all stations replenished with necessary service stock, ensuring a timely removal of dirty dishes, soiled linen etc. to enhance total guest environment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Report to work well-groomed in full uniform and on time, wearing badge on upper left side of uniform.
• Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous food and beverage service to all guests.
• Be hospitable, friendly, and polite with all guests, co-workers, and management using positive body language.
• Familiarize yourself with restaurant menu, assisting guests with any questions.
• Clean, set-up, and organize all service & bussing stations.
• Assist servers with the removal of soiled dishes and trays.
• Removal of trash on a timely basis.
• Collaborate with other associates to promote a positive team environment.
• Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
• Attend all required training meetings.
• Duties, responsibilities, requirements, and expectations may change as needed. Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule.
• Assist families with children in finding suitable seating (booster chairs/high chairs), allowing parents to handle their children.
• Set an outstanding example and be a credit to Saracen Casino Resort.

Qualifications/Requirements:

The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Outgoing, friendly personality and cheerful accommodating disposition.
• Must be at least 18 years old or older upon employment.
• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to write routine correspondence and speak effectively to the public, employees, and customers.
• Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Approval for and maintenance of a valid Gaming License.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Respond to visual and aural cues.
• Employment contingent upon favorable background investigation and drug screening outcomes.

Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands:

The physical demands described here represent those that must be met to successfully perform essential job functions. Noise levels vary from moderately loud to loud, especially on the casino floor. Smoking is permitted in the work environment.

• Standing, walking, and moving through all areas of the casino.
• Long periods of mobility. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Maintaining physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced casino environment.
• Working nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
