    This position is located in the Office of Inspector General, in Washington, D.C.



    Duties


    Serves as a Management and Program Analyst within the Office of Inspector General (OIG), Office of Mission Support. The AmeriCorps OIG is an independent office within AmeriCorps that provides oversight of the agency's programs and operations to protect the integrity of national service. This position is responsible for providing and executing a full range of analytical, administrative, budgetary, program, policy, and operational support for the Office of Inspector General (OIG)

    • Provide technical assistance and use accounting software to research, compile, analyze and present financial information in reports for use in management decision making.
    • Analyze data and compile detailed reports that measure the OIG program performance for submission to OIG leadership, Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and the agency.
    • Develop modifications, revisions, and implementing procedures to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of program operations and financial management processes within the OIG.
    • Research current or new management practices for application to programs or operations.
