    Ulland Brothers, Inc. is a Civil/Highway-Heavy, aggregate, and site development contractor with Minnesota office locations in Carlton, Virginia, and Albert Lea. Ulland Brothers has operated in the construction industry for over 100 years.

    The Company has an immediate opening for the position of Aggregate/Land Resource Manager in the Carlton Office, managing resources in the Arrowhead Region.


    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Project and Asset Management
    Manage our land and aggregate resources in Northern Minnesota.
    Assess long and short-term aggregate needs.
    Manage all aspects of Federal, State, and local permitting, zoning, and mining regulations.
    Establish an effective marketing plan and pricing. Identify new business opportunities in the private and public sector.
    Assist project managers and estimators in sourcing aggregates for projects.
    Maintain a relationship of trust with aggregate source owners, customers, and subcontractors.
    Review and maintain aggregate contracts and leases.
    Track and monitor internal and external sales.
    Work with production manager and accounting staff to keep accurate aggregate inventories.
    Ensure our aggregate operations are conducted in an environmentally responsible manner.
    Qualifications
    Related experience in the construction field, preferably in Geological Sciences or Civil Engineering.
    Knowledge of construction materials used in Highway-Heavy construction.
    Knowledge of construction materials processing methods.
    Understanding and ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
    Computer competency.
    Positive communicator and leader.
    Possess excellent organizational/coordination skills.
    Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
