Job summary
The Surgical Charge Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate financial documentation and charge capture for surgical services. This role supports the financial integrity of the Surgery department by preparing analyzing and maintaining records in accordance with established policies and procedures.Responsibilities
- Charge Capture & Reconciliation
- Review surgical case documentation to ensure accurate charge entry for procedures supplies and implants.
- Audit and reconcile surgical charges using source data to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records that reflect the operational and financial status of the Surgery department.
