Your Role

We're looking for our next CNC Machinist. At Bravo Team, you'll engage in projects blending customer needs with our strengths in engineering and tech. We are looking for an experienced hands-on CNC Machinist to aid our company in its mission to deliver custom machined parts and engineered solutions of superior quality at competitive prices. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and a desire to learn and grow while fielding a variety of work in the following areas:

• Machine Design
• Automation & Controls
• Build-to-Print/Fabrication
• Product Development

The demand for our fast turnaround one-stop-shop services is such that we need help from a CNC Machinist to work in close collaboration with our engineers and other machinists. You will make critical contributions to our company's reputation, ensuring the excellence of our products by following inspection protocols and detecting errors before products are released.

Key Responsibilities

• Understanding CNC Machining operations of multi-axis mills and lathes.
• Determine the fixtures, attachments, and tools necessary to complete jobs according to specifications, and mount them to the machine before cutting operations begin.
• Assist engineers with the design process as needed.
• Run 3D printers.
• Discuss project specifications with engineers and supervisors to guarantee consistency between plans and products, and collaborate to modify designs when existing ones are not feasible.
• Modify machine speed, tooling, and cutting style to ensure precision and accuracy of manufactured parts.
• Oversee the cutting process, make adjustments throughout each job, catch mistakes as they happen, and take necessary measures to eliminate errors.
• Wire, solder, and trouble shoot electrical components and systems.
• Inspect all finished products for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality and uphold the company's reputation.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, cleaning, and tool replacement.
• MIG & TIG weld prototypes.
• Lead fabrication and other hands-on assemblies of projects as needed.
• Use SolidWorks and Fusion 360 to establish the machining workflow and strategies that will produce the highest quality parts, while striving for shorter machining times and extended tool life.

Requirements

• Associate degree in CAD Drafting or equivalent experience using Fusion 360.
• 8+ years of experience in machining.
• Experience running manual mills and lathes.
• Experience Programming, setting up and running CNC Mills and Lathes.
• Ability to understand G-code.
• A Desire to learn new skills and embrace growth.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Value precision and enforce quality standards.

Compensation

• Pay: $125,000 - $150,000 per year. Salary, Exempt. Where candidates fall within the pay range is dependent on factors such as years of applicable experience.

Working Environment for Machine Shop Personnel

• Shop personnel frequently need to remain stationary, often standing or sitting.
• Regular operation of machinery and power tools is required.
• Occasional noise exposure.
• Occasional lifting and moving of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• PPE is provided to ensure the safety and well-being of our shop personnel.
