    Revel, adjacent to the Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Downtown is seeking a Bar Manager.

    Revel is a refined American restaurant located steps from Market Square and offers a casual dining menu, seasonal outdoor seating and handcrafted drinks.

    Your role as a Bartender / Bar Manager at Revel is extremely important toour success.

    You will be responsible for working with the management team whileoverseeing bar operations, ensuring excellent guest service, coaching &training staff along with ordering & maintaining inventory.

    You will have astrong influence on creating drinks and drink menus.

    Your expertise in mixology, craft cocktails andattention to detail will contribute to creating a memorable and enjoyableexperience for our guests.

    You're required to demonstrate genuine hospitalitywhile greeting and establishing an energetic, interactive & friendly polishedatmosphere.

    This role requires a dynamic individual with the ability to lead byexample, communicate, have a strong knowledge of current trends and the abilityto multitask in a fast-paced environment.

    GeneralJob Guidelines/Responsibilities:

    Guest Interaction:


    • Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommendsuitable drinks.
    • Provide excellentcustomer service by being knowledgeable, approachable, and attentive.
    • Ensure we deliver aguest first mentality by interacting with the guests to create an enjoyable,memorable experience.
    Staff Management:


    • Open or close the restaurantin the absence of management.
    • Direct and support barstaff, including bartenders, barbacks, and servers.
    • Schedule shifts andmanage time-off requests to ensure adequate staffing.
    • Coordinate schedules tocover events and banquets.
    • Train new employees inbar procedures, drink recipes, and customer service standards.
    Bar Operations &Compliance:


    • Efficiently manage &direct the bar area, including stocking and organizing ingredients, utensils,and glassware.
    • Monitor and controlbeverage costs.
    • Deliver a clean andorganized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Adhere to all relevanthealth, safety, and hygiene standards.
    • Ensure compliance withlocal and state alcohol regulations.
    • Responsible service ofalcohol, including monitoring patrons for signs of intoxication.
    • Work with banquet &event managers on orders for scheduled events.
    Mixology Techniques:


    • Have the ability to createexciting craft cocktails.
    • Keep abreast of newingredients and technologies in the beverage industry.
    Qualifications andSkills:


    • Prior experience as abar manager / supervisor.
    • Proven experience as aMixologist or Bartender in a reputable establishment.
    • In-depth knowledge ofspirits, wines, and beers.
    • Excellent customerservice and communication skills.
    • Strong organizationaland multitasking abilities.
    • Certification inresponsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS certification) is a plus.
