    Senior Network Engineer
    Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
    Position Type: Full-Time

    Tokio Marine HCC, a leading specialty insurance company, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Network Engineer. The Global Network Services Team is an integral part of our Corporate IT function, spanning more than 80 locations globally. We are a small but high-performing global team, split across London and Houston; operating on a 24x7 basis to deliver a stable, secure, and scalable service for Tokio Marine HCC. Become a vital part of our Operations team, responsible for managing and maintaining global complex network systems, including routers, switches, load-balancers, firewalls, network management and monitoring tools. Help drive a service delivery mentality across the team, as well as help drive service improvements across technology and processes. Key Responsibilities:
    • Operate, maintain, and monitor the network infrastructure globally, delivering "network as a service" to each business unit across TMHCC.
      • Incident Management
      • Change Management
      • Problem Management
    • Support product lifecycle management activities.
    • Mentor junior team members.
    • Provide technical expertise across the organization.
    • Champion installation and configuration documents.
    • Actively participate and engage in network design governance.
    • Identify and recommend cost-effective technology solutions.
    Qualifications and Requirements:
    • Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
    • Cisco CCNP certification or higher; CCIE highly preferred but not required.
    • TIL v3 foundation or higher preferred but not required.
    Skills and Experience:
    • Extensive relevant experience in internetworking
    • Experience working within a global enterprise organization users).
    • Considerable experience implementing, managing, and troubleshooting networks.
    • Superior planning knowledge.
    • Working knowledge of:
      • Cisco Routing & Switching (incl. protocols)
      • Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure
      • Cisco Identity Services Engine
      • Cisco Meraki Wireless
      • Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance
      • VMWare VeloCloud SD-WAN
      • Citrix NetScaler Load balancing & content switching
      • Policy Maps
      • Segmentation, VLAN, Spanning Tree, L3 interfaces, HSRP, EIGRP, TCP/IP
      • Network Traffic Analysis (Netflow, SPAN)
      • Monitoring Tools (SolarWinds and Thousand Eyes)
