    Job Title: Seasonal QA Plant Monitor

    Description:

    This position is responsible for assisting the Quality Control group in conducting plant monitoring testing on cottonseed to ensure quality standards are met. Key responsibilities include:

    • Performing quality checks, including truck sampling, sample de-linting, acid percentage, and other tests
    • Inspecting packaged finished product to verify standards are met
    • Assisting with variety cleanouts
    • Entering data on a Plant Monitoring Spreadsheet
    • Reporting any deviations of quality parameters

    Requirements:

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • A strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tests for extended periods
    • The ability to work near/with other workers in an industrial and warehouse setting
    • Maintaining a clean work area and following safe work practices
    • The physical ability to stand and walk for periods of time

    Working Conditions:

    This role requires working primarily in an industrial/warehouse and/or lab environment, utilizing equipment such as temperature probes, pH meters, and lab scales.

    Compensation:

    The starting pay is $22.00 per hour, with training hours taking place Monday-Friday from 06:00 AM-2:30 PM and production hours consisting of 12-hour shifts, 3 days on/4 days off or 4 days on/3 days off (day and night shifts).
