    Description


    Insight Global is seeking a Warehouse Manager who will oversee the operations of receiving, storing, and shipping products to meet customer needs.

    Ensure that processes, equipment, documentation, and personnel are in place to meet business objectives.


    • Manage distribution operations, including training, scheduling, and enforcing policies.
    • Contribute to strategic plans and reviews to achieve operational objectives.
    • Implement production and fulfillment productivity methods to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards.
    • Assign workers to specific duties and hold them accountable to job standards.
    • Coordinate all activities of distribution, warehousing, receiving, pick, pack, and shipping.
    • Meet financial objectives by forecasting labor requirements, participating in the annual budget process, and analyzing variances.
    • Coordinate activities of Warehouse with sales, inventory control, and purchasing departments.
    • Ensure distribution standards of work and SOPs are followed and created when a new process is created.
    • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures.
    • Serve as the "Go to" person on site for any and all communications to the workforce.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by director of operations.
    • Manage distribution operations by training, delegating, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing all policies and procedures.
    • Achieve operational objectives by contributing operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
    • Prepare and complete action plans; implement production, fulfillment productivity methods, to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards.
    • Resolve problems using lean tool set, complete audits, identify trends, and share best practices with peers.
    • Meet overall distribution operations financial objectives by forecasting labor requirements; participate in the annual budget process; schedule capital expenditures; analyze variances; initiate corrective action plans.
    • Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; deploy company processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
    Work closely with peers from other facilities.


    • Develop warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems, evaluate and recommend new equipment.
    • Improve warehouse operations system by analyzing process workflow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout, implement changes as necessary.
    • Coordinate activities of Warehouse with activities of sales, inventory control, and purchasing departments to ensure availability of merchandise.
    • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, comply with all legal regulations.
    Ensure that all employees are treated equally and ethically.


    • Stay up to date with industry trends by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.
    • Collaborate with local sales and supply chain teams to ensure optimal outcomes for customers and the company.
    • Promote a culture of safety by implementing and enforcing safety standards.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Experience opening a new facility
    High school diploma or GED

    5+ years of warehouse operations experience

    5+ years supervisory experience

    Kaizen experience

    Experience with Gemba walks
