    This position is housed in the Community Justice & Rehabilitation Services Department.

    We are a small team that provides multiple services to prevent, reduce, and resolve family conflict, and to promote healthy family interactions.

    Is familiar with (or interested in becoming proficient in) reviewing cases and filing documents in Oregon's Odyssey e-file & Serve eCourt System.

    Provide quality child custody and parenting time mediation and develop written agreements.
    Enter program data and assist in the preparation of reports.

    The mission of Community Justice and Rehabilitation Services is to contribute to public safety by reducing risk, creating opportunities, and working to make positive changes in lives directly affecting the impact to the community, victims and offenders by holding justice involved youth and adults appropriately accountable for their behavior.

    The Community Justice and Rehabilitation Services is comprised of four divisions:

    Administrative and Fiscal
    Parole and Probation
    Youth Services

    Schedule :

    Monday , Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday; Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited college or university in a behavioral science, or a law degree from an accredited law school with substantial course work and/or Continuing Legal Education credits in family law.

    Participation in at least 20 cases of domestic relations mediation totaling at least 100 hours, or two years of professional mediation, direct therapy/counseling experience or legal practice with domestic relations or juvenile caseloads, that otherwise satisfies the experience/training requirements for court-connected domestic relations mediators.

    An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities as required by OJD Court-Connected Mediator qualifications rules is qualifying.

    Must meet the court-connected domestic relations mediator qualifications outlined in UTCR Chapter 12:
    ~30-Hour Basic Mediation Training Certificate.
    ~40-Hour Domestic Relations Mediation Training Certificate.
    ~ Co-mediated or mediated at least 100 hours of court-connected domestic relations mediation.
