    Description
    Cayuga Counseling Services, Inc. is seeking a Clinic Supervisor for their Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in Auburn, New York. The Clinic Supervisor acts as a backup Supervisor in the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. The Clinic Supervisor acts in accordance with all the policies of Cayuga Counseling Services,Inc. and New York State Office of Mental Health codes, rules, and regulations.

    The Clinic Supervisor will be responsible for the following job duties:
    • Provide individual and/or group supervision to clinical staff.
    • Track and ensure Licensure/Certification requirements are met.
    • Hold staff accountable for performance measures including, but not limited to productivity, timely documentation of clinical services, compliance with Medicaid and other regulatory and funding authorities.
    • Develops and Oversees Open Access and Hospital Discharge schedules.
    • Determines Caseload and service coverage/schedules.
    • Responsible for quality initiative: Coordinates utilization review and management, coordinates clinical chart audits, conducts service evaluations, implements service improvements.
    • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
    • Works independently and within a self- managed team environment.
    • Must maintain punctual and regular work attendance.
    • Facilitate Incident Review Committee per regulations, report incidents in NIMRS when required.
    • Attend meetings to represent Cayuga Counseling Services, Inc. including but not limited to, Community Intervention Team, FAST, Adult Behavioral Health Court and Threat Assessment Committee.
    Qualified candidates:
    • Must be Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
    • 3 years of experience in a comparable position dedicated to quality/health improvement in a OMH Article 31 Clinic preferred.
    • Previous practice experience in a clinical setting
    • Must have strong leadership skills as well as both strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Must have the ability to effectively problem solve.
    • Must have the ability to function in a team-based environment.
    The Agency offers:
    • 3 Weeks PTO in your first year, 4 weeks in your second year.
    • 48 hours of Wellness time annually (4 hours accrue per month) that can be used any time you feel you need some time for yourself.
