    Job Description

    Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

    An opportunity is available for an experienced RN skilled in Stepdown nursing to provide critical support in a dynamic healthcare environment in Hendersonville, NC. This contract position offers a chance to contribute to a nationally recognized hospital known for clinical excellence and patient safety.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care to lower acuity settings.
    • Monitor patient conditions closely, manage treatments, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
    • Utilize critical thinking skills to quickly recognize and respond to changes in patient status.
    • Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.
    • Adhere to established protocols and maintain accurate documentation.

    Qualifications and Desired Experience:

    • Active RN license with Stepdown nursing experience.
    • Strong clinical assessment and critical care skills.
    • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
    • Excellent communication and patient care abilities.
    • Current BLS, ACLS certification preferred.
