Our ideal candidate is a motivated, flexible team-player that has strong skills and broad interests.
Multi-specialty clinic includes: 6 Family Medicine with 4 advanced practitioners with Integrated Behavioral Health, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Occupational Medicine, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Orthopedics, Consultative Pediatrics, General Surgery, and visiting specialtiesOn-site Chronic Disease Management nursing supportNurse Online Triage 24/7EPIC integrated

Hospitalist Specifics:

Virginia Hospital is an 83-bed hospital, Level IV Trauma Center and certified Stroke Ready facilityStaffing model of 1 Physician and 1 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) on days and 1 dedicated physician nocturnistAverage team census 24-28 patients, includes admissions.

Typical 7-day on, 7-day off schedule throughout the year; 175 shifts is considered full-time. Flexible schedulingHospitalist-run ICURequires ventilator management for 24-48hrs.

Critical Care consults easily accessible.

Additional subspecialty consults easily accessible via phone or telehealth1 hour away from Medical Center in Duluth, which is a Level I tertiary care hospitalProcedures not requiredFull laboratory; radiology to include MRI and CT servicesAdditional inpatient services:
General Surgery, ENT, Orthopedic Surgery, Obstetrics/GynecologyLocation:60 miles north of Duluth, MN; 200 miles north of Minneapolis/St.
