    This is a full-time position supporting NASA Safety Center remotely within the continental US.

    Selected applicants will be responsible for supporting the NASA Safety Center Assessments and Investigations Office as directed by the Government.

    The team member will support general assessment program, including developing and maintaining the AIO assessment process and implementation of the process for specific assessments as directed by the Government.

    You will be responsible for working with other contractors and NASA civil servants to develop an assessment process that assesses NASA Centers, Programs, and projects.

    You will conduct assessments using various methods including analysis of large sets of data and disparate data. You will need to communicate the results of assessments to a variety of levels of leadership across NASA.

    Minimum Requirement:
    BS in Engineering or other technical degree and 6 years of experience in NASA Program/project system safety or reliability.
    Working knowledge and application of NASA SMA requirements across the Program/project life cycle.
    Desire and willingness to help support and influence a customer organization that undergoes constant change.
    Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead teams in assessment activities.

    Ability to analyze large sets of data, make determinations based on that analysis, and concisely communicate the results to senior leadership.

    Ability to identify key technical risk areas, and translate the risk areas into program impacts.
    Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
    Excellent communication skills with the ability to present results to senior leadership
    Ability to work independently and lead detail-oriented tasks

    Desired Qualifications:
    Experience across the NASA Program/project life cycle
    Experience in the use of Microsoft Power Tools and SharePoint
    Experience as a technical writer
