    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Join Ecolab's Corporate Logistics team as a Logistics Manager- LTL , supporting the Carrier & Capacity Strategy team. In this role you will help drive the competitive advantage our business units require as Less than Truckload modal sourcing and operations expert . You will gain leadership experience as you deploy a cost- savings project pipeline, continuous improvement methodologies and process improvements, and guide a team of leaders managing our LTL supplier group.

    What You Will Do:

    ·Own the modal strategy for less than truckload freight for the Ecolab enterprise

    ·Lead a team with accountabilities in capacity and vendor management, distribution partnership, transportation sourcing, and root cause analysis & vendor corrective action.

    ·Manage performance and accountability for two direct reports with expectations for standard work creation, business intelligence development, and vendor management

    ·Be the subject matter expert for the mode of less than truckload freight for the enterprise including but not limited to; tariff-based rate management, hub-and-spoke network design, and a working knowledge of the largest vendors in this industry

    ·Responsible for developing a cohesive process for collecting and analyzing data used in sourcing

    ·Direct the development and deployment of PowerBI dashboards as requested or necessary

    ·Provide operational support and ownership with savings projects

    ·Manage ad hoc analytical requests

    ·Work independently and within a team, creating value and efficiencies for the Transportation network

    ·Work cross- functionally with Transportation Admin functions, Control Tower, and Procurement.

    ·Other duties as assigned

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-10+ years of previous supply chain and transportation experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
  • No immigration sponsorship available
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Transportation
  • Prior direct work experience with LTL vendor management experience
  • Strong proficiency Excel and/ or building Power BI's
  • Experience and proficiency with SAP and TMS systems
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally and communicating with all levels of the organization (both written and verbal)
  • Strong analytical problem-solving
