Job Title: Clinical Systems Analyst II at Stanford Health Care

Overview

The role of the Clinical Systems Analyst II is to support essential functions of the health system's applications, ensuring cost-effective, high quality, and safe patient care.

This position involves implementing, administering, and supporting assigned systems with some guidance from senior team members. A good understanding of Epic modules, ancillary systems, and health system operations is essential.

Responsibilities

Provide tier-2 support for application incidents reported through the help desk, with 24/7 on-call coverage as needed
Assist junior team members in resolving application incidents, maintenance tasks, and enhancement requests
Monitor applications in production use on a daily basis
Collaborate with other IT teams for application support, including Infrastructure, Integration, Reporting, and the help desk
Lead software upgrade initiatives or workflow enhancements of small to medium complexity
Make modifications to tables/master files under senior team members' direction
Implement changes following department's policies and procedures
Take ownership of resolving low to medium complexity issues and facilitate communication between customers and support staff
Document workflows and mentor junior staff members
Assist in developing requirements/specifications and test cases for new functionality
Participate in team meetings and maintain meeting records

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. Epic certification in relevant module(s) within 3 months of employment date required

Experience

2 or more years of relevant work experience required

Skills and Abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to diagnose and resolve technology problems
Desire to learn and resolve advanced technology issues
Strong interpersonal skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate and build consensus
Knowledge of health care operations and Epic Software

Physical Demands and Work Conditions

Blood Borne Pathogens

Category III tasks with NO exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues

Base Pay Scale:
Starting at $69.74 per hour, subject to various factors such as experience, education, and internal equity. Actual salary will be determined based on these considerations.
