    We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Order Entry Technician. At Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy, we value our employees and customers, and we strive to provide personalized pharmacy services that enable healthy lives.

    Key Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Interpreting prescriptions and entering data into the electronic pharmacy filling system

    • Troubleshooting pharmacy orders to obtain missing information

    • Maintaining accurate electronic documentation related to orders

    • Providing customer service to callers regarding orders

    • Assisting with claim billing and adjudication to third-party payers

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:

    • Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, with order entry experience preferred

    • Active Pharmacy Technician Certification or postsecondary education in pharmacy technician program

    • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate computer equipment

    • Intermediate computer/keyboard skills

    • Ability to read and decipher written medical documents with speed and accuracy
